The most common question I hear from parents, who usually accompany their children, who want to have refractive surgery, laser surgery, is:

-What is the best operation for my child?

After explaining to them the advantages and disadvantages of each operation, comes another, more crucial and important question.

-Doctor, if it was your child, what would you choose?

For many years I answered this question only in theory. Until I had to make a decision for my own child.

And then, in my mind, for the future health and safety of my own child there was no alternative but the ASLA method. So today my son, Minas Aslanidis, is here with me who underwent this operation 5 years ago and I would like him to share with you his experience.
