Dr. Aslanides and Emmetropia's scientific team attended the winter meeting of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (E.S.C.R.S. winter meeting 2016).

During this conference, Dr. Aslanides was a speaker at the Symposium: "Occular Surface: What's New?" regarding: "Treatment alternatives for ocular surface damage", while also presenting two (2) Emmetropia research activities: "T-ASLA a novel approach for surface ablation for myopia and CXL" and "Assessment of UVA-Riboflavin corneal" cross-linking using small amplitude oscillatory shear measurements "respectively.
