POSTOPERATIVE INSTRUCTIONS | EYE CLINIC - EMMETROPIA
You should remember that your postoperative care is as important as the actual surgical procedure:
- Keep your sunglasses with you. Some pairs do not offer adequate protection. We can check your glasses if you are not sure whether they are suitable and offering enough protection
- Follow literally the postoperative instructions as instructed by your ophthalmologist
- Your first mandatory postoperative check-up will take place in Emmetropia within 24 hours of your surgery. Your appointment time will be known to you immediately after the end of your surgery
- After your first postoperative check, you should undergo additional postoperative check-ups at regular intervals (usually on day 3, 1st, 3rd, 6th and 12 months after surgery)
Each postoperative check-up lasts about 15 minutes and helps assessing the your vision and and evaluate the overall condition of your eyes.
