eyeRADAR Method

Purpose of eyeRADAR

The ultimate goal for our multi-disciplinary team is to be able to evaluate fast and reliably the learning and reading efficiency of a reader using qualitative and quantitative parameter.

eyeRADAR is easy, fast, objective, accurate and cost effective.

The two-part eyeRADARmethod

The assessment of our Reading Center is divided in two parts:

The first part of the assessment is completed using the RADAR Method along with Emmetrolexia.

Emmetrolexia is a purpose built software that will analyze and evaluate the reading fluency of the reader. eyeRADAR is patented.

The second part is completed with the assessment of various scientists and doctors, such as ophthalmologist, child-psychiatrist, optometrist etc. that will evaluate the parameters that are related with any learning or reading disability.

Based on all the evaluations (characteristics) above, our multi-disciplinary team will diagnose the reading disability −if any− of the individual. In addition, RADAR Method will determine how much the individual deviates from typical readers, and the percentile position of this deviation for each reading parameter.

All children are entitled, at least once in their life, to have a RADAR evaluation. By having a negative RADAR reading assessment, your child has a 99.3% probability of being non-dyslexic. [Smyrnakis et al. (2017)]
